Our Events
'The Wiser Me' salon launch took place in Mill Valley, CA on April 24th 2024 and featured Julia Isen who gave a Menopause 101 presentation complete with lots of data on hormone therapy, and took time to answer the community's many questions. Our May 22nd event featured a panel with local naturopathic practitioners Lisa Brent, Rachel Schaefer and Alexis White. Our July 24th event was on nutrition and fitness and included Kim Kulp, Helen Saunders and Rachel O'Connor. Our next event on September 25th inspired us to 'thrive through menopause' with Jen Ashby. And on December 4th we gathered for some holiday fun. February 5th, 2025 featured Jen Marples and how you're not too fucking old #YNTFO for a midlife pivot!
On March 26th The Wiser Me celebrated our 1 year anniversary! It was a full house and we had some fabulous sponsored giveaways and a fireside chat with 2 of our favorite doctors, Jennifer Garrison, PhD of the Buck Institute and Heidi Queen, MD of Energize Health & Hormones. They talked about research on ovarian function, and dug into how our hormones change through the menopause transition and how we can improve our health span.
The Summer Speaker Series kicked off on June 25th when The Wiser Me went 'Woo'. We celebrated the Summer Solstice and the New Moon along with a fabulous slate of speakers. And August 6th brought us Dr Claudia Six, who talked about Menopause, Relationships, Sex & Desire and led a spirited discussion. This salon was sponsored by Good Vibrations and Carol Queen who set up a table of toys and answered everyone's questions!
Our next event on November 10th demystifies our labs and scans. Dr Heidi Queen will help us understand our test results and additional ones we should consider to increase our health span. We'll also be joined by Entourage AI who will explain the new science of mass spectometry proteomics and how it could be the future of longevity.
